PHASE 1
Ideation & Concept Development
Synopsis
Exploration of ideas for a video – messaging and visuals – reflecting the recent release of Park Bench’s odin Software-as-a-Service. This included several discussions with client, initial story development and visual reference.
Video Specs
Story: odin’s move to SaaS, advantages and testimonials.
Estimated runtime: 1 minute.
Design: original look, layout, and assets based on new website design (not stock).
Audio: music reflecting previous videos (stock edited to spec), and no VO.

PHASE 2
Pre-production
Script & Storyboard Development
Based on extensive notes from meetings, and previous working knowledge of odin, we created an initial script, quotes, visual inclinations, and rough storyboards.
Animatic
Video*
We developed an overall theme (look, tone, feel) that complemented previous PBS videos and the odin brand equity – though final look would be more representative of the new PBS website design (white background, character assets, new iconography, etc.).
We then paired the script with basic visual elements and cut this to music to give a rough idea of the final piece.
Audio*
Based on music that we’ve used for previous videos, we sourced a new complementary track for this video. We then edited the music to the visual specs.

PHASE 3
Production & Post
Design
Graphics and animation research (based on new website design and other supplied marketing collateral).
Initial development of video layout and design assets.*

Animation
New graphics and animation style to reflect the new site aesthetic.
PHASE 5
Rendering & Delivery
Rendered as MP4 at 1080p (1920x1080).
Final video was requested to be completed prior to Thanksgiving, and was delivered to Marc on 11/24/21.
Bonus Content
As part of a package deal, we supplied an updated version of the annual holiday social marketing video for 2021 (using updated subtext to reflect the new website design).
