AD Apps for Food
Avery Dennison
Matt developed a library of animated explainer videos highlighting their new mobile apps for food supply chain solutions + a written pitch and visual concepts for an interactive online experience.

VIDEO DESIGN
These are the three main explainer videos created for AD’s then-new mobile app solutions for food service and supply chains.
Working with AD’s interactive agency, Matt helped to concept and create the look and storyboards, then developed original assets, animated, added sound design, edited and rendered many iterations of the videos to spec.
Deliverables included: storyboards, look development, original design and asset creation, several rounds of animation and audio iterations, and the final videos.
You can read more about these applications at AD’s site here.
IDEATION & STORYBOARDS
Boards derived from an initial collaborative look, then iterated through many rounds with the AD team, until a clear story and final design was established.
Due to the processes of these applications being very technical, exhaustive detail was spent on each frame to make sure that an accurate but conceptual representation was established.
Sample frames from the many created are shown here.
INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE PITCH
Correspondingly, I helped an agency pitch an online interactive experience for AD’s Food Solutions team.
I wrote a 40-page document outlining 3 option tiers, detailing the capabilities and story.
I supported this pitch with original designed:
• architecture flow charts,
• overall aesthetic,
• color & iconography concepts,
• landing page design & animation samples,
• interactive map design,
• product callouts,
• mini-game calculators,
• and cart design concepts,
some examples of which you can see here.
Result: the agency won the account.
This experience details the connected food supply chain, and how Avery’s products can assist in every step of that process.
